If you want to improve your performance at the board, you can't ignore the fine tuning of the barrels. It is the only component that you directly touch during the throw. Therefore, the feel must match your grip style exactly.

Material science: Tungsten vs. brass

The material determines the flight characteristics and durability of your darts:

  • Tungsten: The material of choice for professionals. Since tungsten has a very high density, barrels can be produced significantly narrower than other materials of the same weight. This allows for a tighter grouping of darts on the board (e.g., in the triple 20 field). Proportions of 80% to 95% tungsten are common. Brass: Ideal for beginners or casual players. Brass barrels are thicker and usually cheaper, but offer excellent value for money for those starting out in darts.

Grip zones: Full control with every throw

The “grip” describes the surface structure of the barrel. Depending on your preference, you can choose between different intensities:
