Darts produce a "knocking noise" when they hit the board, which can sometimes be perceived as very annoying in one's own environment or by the neighbour. Together with sound insulation experts, Karella now has the perfect solution to almost completely eliminate the noise. Darts players have been waiting for such an invention for a long time. The secret lies in the material composition and construction: The 2-piece Karella soundproofing consists of a soundproofing core, to which the stone dartboard is attached, and a surrounding soundproofing ring. Both parts are made of millions of highly specialised soundproofing fibres. The interaction of the sound insulation core and the surrounding sound insulation ring results in almost complete noise decoupling. When the dart hits the board, the dull knocking noise is transmitted via the dartboard back to the entire fibreboard. Professional measurements have shown a noise reduction of over 80% in the dart room as well as in adjacent rooms. The measured values were below 30dB and thus the legal night's rest remains 100% unaffected. The anthracite-coloured Karella sound insulation covers an area of 12cm around the dartboard with its size and is therefore also ideally suited as a surround due to its material composition. This double benefit makes the purchase of the Karella sound insulation even more economical. If required, any commercially available catch ring can also be used in addition without restrictions. The Karella sound insulation is 100% Made in Germany. The fibre material is tested for harmful substances according to Öko-Tex, without any chemical additives. Odourless and environmentally friendly. The sound protection is very dimensionally stable and therefore very robust and durable, as it is almost wear-free. The visually attractive sound insulation is universally suitable for every dartboard, even the most common dartboard lights can still be used.
