Der Auffangring = "Catchring" oder auch "Surround" genannt, wird einfach über das Turnierboard aufgesetzt. Er nimmt geräuschlos alle Fehlwürfe auf, die knapp außerhalb des Boards aufkommen würden. Er verhindert somit auch das Herunterfallen der Steeldartpfeile.
